The Leadership of the National Youth Council of Nigeria has called on the various segments of society to promote an all inclusive governance of Social Cohesion, Economic Prosperity and Political Stability in a democratic way.
It is also the position of NYCN that Federal government should step up efforts at discouraging hate speech especially among the youths, stressing that the unity of the nation was sacrosanct.
The Youths Council also agreed with calls for reconstructing of the country and urged government to design a strategic guideline that provides for long time planning, prioritizing of core government functions and willingness to respond to public expectation which they claimed will help build greater integration of states, Local Governments and society.
The NYCN equally commended Rivers State Governor NYESOM WIKE for his support during the hosting of the just concluded summit held in Port Harcourt just as they call for partnership among Governors and the Federal Government to create vibrant and effective Nigerian states. The position of the NYCN chairmen forum was made known through a communique read out by Nasarawa State Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, BAKO MUHAMMED at the end of a submit in Port Harcourt.
