RIWAMA Disowns Fake Revenue Sanitation Agents

 Obuah disowns fake sanitation agents

The attention of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA) has been drawn to the criminal activities of one Mr. Gabriel Vitus, who has been parading himself as a Revenue Agent of RIWAMA and extorting huge sums of money from unsuspecting members of the public in the State.

A statement from the Sole Administrator of RIWAMA, Bro. Felix Obuah signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam, said the notorious Mr. Gabriel Vitus is known to be operating around the NTA Road axis with two other men dressed in RIWAMA reflector vest and a lady who also dressed in white shirt and brown skirt uniform, akin to that of a health officer.

Bro. Obuah added that the fake agent, who takes his nefarious activities to other areas of Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt City, also moves with Mopol Escort and a driver.

The RIWAMA boss also disclosed that Mr. Gabriel Vitus drives around the City, extorting compulsory Sanitation Levies from unsuspecting and defenseless members of the public in the name and fake Identity Card of Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), in the process raking Millions of Naira from them. 23-year-old John Mwirigi clinches Igembe South Parliamentary seat 23-year-old John Paul Mwirigi beats rival Joseph Mwereria to win Igembe South Parliamentary seat in Meru County with 19,366 votes.

Arewa Youth Assembly protests against anti-Nigerian sentiments in Abuja

According to the Vanguard, members of the Arewa Youth Assembly protested in Abuja metropolis demanding that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu be arrested.

The Group was escorted by the Nigerian Police peacefully without tear gas or baptized with water canon as they staged their protest in Abuja. According to them,the unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable. They also said IPOB leader is undermining the sovereignty of Nigeria and should be arrested now.

We will continue to support SMEs for sustained development says Governor Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has stated that his administration will continue to support Small and Medium enterprises (SMEs) for the sustained growth of the state’s economy.

He also called on politicians to work towards developing their respective communities instead of perpetually playing politics. Speaking when he granted audience to the House of Representatives Committee on Banking and Currency and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Tuesday evening , Governor Wike noted that his administration has already worked with the CBN to support SMEs through grants.
