FRSC Sector Commander cuts hair of female personnel.

Some months back, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corp in Rivers State was all over the news after he was involved in a hair cutting saga. Many considered the action of former Rivers State FRSC Sector Commander, Ayodele Kumapayi as weird when he requested for a pair of scissors to cut the hair extensions of female officers in April. It happened during a general hair, uniform and finger nail inspection. Kumapayi said that there was need for officers to comply with the dress code of the agency.

However, his actions were criticized by members of the public. It is believed that the hair cutting incident could have been responsible for his recent redeployment. Ayodele Kumapayi has been redeployed to Corp Safety and Transport Office, Abuja Headquarters, while Corp Commander Imoh Etuk of the Corps Public Education, FRSC Abuja has been appointed the new FRSC Commander in Rivers State.
