In spite of the crisis rocking the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in some Local Government Area of Rivers State, mobilization continues at the grassroot in a bid to strengthen the party ahead of 2019 general elections.

Our correspondent reports that some groups under the platform of the APC in the state came together to mark the birthday celebration of their leader, former Governor Rotimi AMECHI.

Hundreds of APC supporters in Omuma Local Government Area including okada riders took over the streets of the communities in solidarity with the leader of the APC in the state, Minister of Transport, Rotimi AMECHI, as he marks his birthday. Continue reading
